There are a few balls that are longer off the tee and some that spin more, but as an amateur, I've found nothing that beats the Triad as an all-round ball. I played Bridgestones for many years (love the feel) and Titleists for 2-3 years, but the Triads keep me in the fairway more often, and I swear the putts roll straighter. There's also enough spin to shape shots and stick greens. Not crazy spin, but certainly workable.
The Triads might be a few yards shorter than some premium tour balls that the pros play, and I can't rip them back 5 yards when they hit the green (maybe a pro could), but I'm happy to give up that small amount of extra distance & spin for a noticeably better chance at hitting my second shot from the fairway. Oh, and these balls are $15/dozen less than premium balls.
Wilson nailed it.
