Turns out we really like to practice in the yard, even my wife and the kids are using it. To me, it's almost as good as practicing at the driving range. So many times I intend to hit the range but after I get home I just don't feel like driving a half hour one way, not to mention paying $7 a bucket for balls, so I skip it. But this is super easy, just step out in the garage, grab a club and a dozen balls and whack away.
The con would be the grass "mat". It's much too small. Even using pins to hold it down it would still fly away. I ended up getting one that is almost the size of the ones at the range and it works much better. If you can hit off your grass (which is the best way to practice, right?!) or you already have a large mat, I would give it 5 stars.
