These are marketed as golf shoes, but they’re far more useful than that. I originally picked them up for cross-country use but even though I could technically sun on them, they don’t give me all that support I need on my heel and toe box for running.
But for everything else, they’ve turned out to be extremely comfortable, walking, and everyday wear. The arch support is excellent, providing stability without feeling rigid, and the toe box is properly sized although it could be bigger, which makes a big difference during longer periods of activity.
The cushioning absorbs impact well and helps reduce foot fatigue, while the outsole offers solid traction on a variety of surfaces, and grass, dirt paths, and pavement included. Despite the support, they don’t feel heavy or clunky. The waterproofing is a nice bonus, especially for early mornings or damp conditions.
Aesthetically, they’re clean and understated. They don’t look like traditional golf shoes, which means they pair easily with shorts, jeans, or casual pants and don’t look out of place off the course. Overall, they’re comfortable, supportive, and versatile enough to wear for far more than just golf just not running.
