I bought this putting mat mostly as an arc alignment and distance aid. It's reasonably thin and portable, and the lines are good guides. For anyone wondering technical specs, I measured the arc line at ~4.8 degrees at 1' ft mark from center line (the arc is 0.5" from the center line), meaning the total putting arc is 9.6 degrees, which is considered a "Slight" arc. (On average, 12-15 degrees is slight-to-moderate rotation in arc, which is a little more rotation than this.) This is a reasonably good guide for most average players like me of average height and lie angle, especially if you have a minimal or no toe hang on your putter, like a face-balanced mallet putter. But if you have a classic blade putter with more toe hang, or more natural rotation in your putting stroke, you'll probably want to buy something else. For the money, this is good value, easy to use indoors, and overall a good aid.
