    Tidy solution to needing additional USB ports.

    I've mounted this USB hub to the underside of my desk as a way to add some extra USB ports to my computer in a tidy but accessible way. After testing it for a few few weeks with a variety of devices (keyboard, storage drives, USB microphone) I can say that it definitely works and has saved me from needing to crawl behind my desk to access one of the free ports on the back of the motherboard.
    Drives plugged into the hub appear to transfer data at the same speed as the front USB ports of my computer case. I do like the inclusion of the sticky backed velcro patch, allowing it to be mounted in a non-permanent way, with that said, I also received screws so that it could be hard mounted if I had wanted to fix it in place.
    The cable is quite stiff and thick, hopefully this means it will be quite durable in the long run but only time will tell on that.
    Overall, it's very easy to use (as any basic USB hub should be) and helps keep my desk clear of extra cables that don't need to run directly to the back of my PC.

    A great little product to mount some hidden USB ports under your desk.

    This can either be screwed in or adhesive mounted if you don't want to start screwing holes in your nice desk top.

    For the price id have expected to have seen some USB C ports on there but you can't have everything!

    I am no techie. I won't presume to add to what previous reviewers (obviously x 100 times more knowledgeable than I will ever be) have said. To my great relief, when I daisy chained this little hub to the one already attached to my iMac, it worked. That is absolutely all I ask.

    My only criticism is that the cable is so stiff and sturdy, it is currently intruding in an annoying and uncontrollable way on my limited workspace. There does seem to me to be a trend towards stiffer cables, presumably to make them more hard-wearing. Personally, I have never had a cable break up on me, but I suffer more and more from the untameable quality of recent cables.

    This hub is slightly more bulky than my old one (also with 4 ports). It comes with screws and velcro to enable it to be fixed wherever suits. I am unlikely to use this capacity, but it's nice to have just in case. I would prefer a 7 port hub, to avoid the pileup of 2 hubs I have now. I see there are quite a few 7 port hubs available on Amazon.

    The current price of £11.99 seems to be middle of the road. N.B. this seller does not offer Free Returns, so do make sure this is the right piece of kit for you before buying.
